INCT CENBAM (Studies Center of Amazonian Biodiversity) (Centre for Amazonian Biodiversity Studies) was created in 2009 with the principle objective of consolidating outputs based on firm scientific knowledge that start with biodiversity studies and end with information, products and processes that are useful to specific users in the short, medium and long-term. It coordinates a network of Amazonian and extra-Amazonian institutions involved in biodiversity studies.
Research Program on Biodiversity (PPBio) Research Program on Biodiversity The Biodiversity Research Program was created in 2004 with the aims of furthering biodiversity studies in Brazil, decentralizing scientific production from already-developed academic centers, integrating research activities and disseminating results across a variety of purposes, including environmental management and education.
