Trail B – Floresta Estadual Canutama

The 5 km trail is located in the Canutama State Forest, in the municipality of Canutama. One of the limits of the Forest is the left bank of the Purus River. The trail was opened in September 2010 to collect fauna and flora data for the preparation of the Conservation Unit Management Plan. This work was carried out within the Purus-Madeira Initiative project, hired by SDS.

Trail A – Resex Canutama

The 5 km trail is located in the Canutama Extractive Reserve, in the municipality of Canutama - AM, on the left bank of the Purus River. The trail was opened in August 2010 to collect fauna and flora data to prepare the Management Plan for the Conservation Unit. This work was carried out within the Purus-Madeira Initiative project, hired by SDS.

Cauamé

The Cauamé Campus (Monte Cristo) belongs to the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR) and is located approximately 15 km from the center of Boa Vista, along highway BR-174 towards Pacaraima.
 
From BR-174 find the entrance ramp to Monte Cristo I and then access the path that leads to the Agricultural Sciences Center (CCA / UFRR). From here, follow a small dirt road of approximately 1 km that connects to the headquarters of the CCA and the experimental Campus.
 

Água Boa

The Água Boa Experimental Field belongs to the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) in Roraima, approximately 35 km from the center of Boa Vista, along the BR-174 highway towards Manaus. Access to the Experimental Field is done by an extension of approximately four kilometers of ground road that connects the BR-174 to its headquarters.
 
The grid installation area covers approximately 616 ha of different habitats of seasonally flooded savannas.

In these areas, eight camps are maintained with complete infrastructure (accommodation with generators, water pump and radio communication), to carry out research and remain researchers.
