CENBAM participates in the XI National Science and Technology Week of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas / São Gabriel da Cachoeira Campus.

This year's theme was "LIGHT, SCIENCE AND LIFE IN THE UPPER RIO NEGRO REGION" SÃO GABRIEL DA CACHOEIRA / AM.
 
The event took place from 19 to 23 October 2015.
 
Maria Aparecida de Freitas presented the Biodiversity Research Program and INCT CENBAM to an audience composed of students, professors and researchers.

The modules were installed at intervals of 40 to 60 km. Each module has two trails of 5 km each, 1 km apart. The trails closest to Manaus are the trails "norte" (TN) and the ones closest to Humaitá "sul" (TS). On each trail, RAPELD standard land parcels were installed every kilometer. In each location, 1 module with 2 tracks (for details see the modules) is implemented 1 km apart.

Salford University Field Ecology Course - 2019

A further edition of the Salford Tropical Field Course was held between 14 and 26 January 2019. The course, led by Professor Jean Philippe Boubli, is a partnership between the University of Salford, located in Manchester, England, the Vitoria Amazon Foundation (FVA) and the Center for Integrated Studies on Amazonian Biodiversity (CENBAM). Undergraduate students of the British university from three different courses (Wildlife Conservation with Zoo Biology, Wildlife and Practical Conservation and Zoology), counting this year with the presence of 21 students.
