The southern trail has flooding from 2000m up to 3000m it is necessary to cross 2 igapós each with approximately 90m in length, one 8m long and one 400m long. The 2500 portion of this trail remains flooded almost throughout the rainy season, but the 3500 is located on higher ground and does not flood. After 4200m, a new igapó begins that extends to the end of the trail. The 4500 portion of this trail is located in an igapó and also remains flooded throughout the rainy season. Where to get water

In the M03 there is a well without a wooden box dug 20m before the camp on the access trail. The well remains with water throughout the year. The well must be used to draw water for drinking and cooking. The well water must be treated with some type of disinfectant (such as chlorine) whenever it is used for drinking or cooking. It is recommended to take chlorine to play directly in the well as it is left unused for long periods and there may be proliferation of insects. If you are going to use the well water to bathe, remember to do this away from the well box to avoid water contamination. Also, keep the well closed. The well does not have a permanent cover, only an improvised one with canvas and wood, communicate if it is damaged. For the bath, a stream can also be used about 50m before the camp on the access trail.
