Research History
	The trails and camps were installed under the coordination of Ary Jorge Correa Ferreira and Richard O. Bierregaard Jr. from 1979. In 2004, Gabriela Zuquim, a graduate student in the Graduate Program in Tropical Biology and Natural Resources at INPA, The existing tracks to install 38 terrestrial permanent plots with the RAPELD methodology. The 38 terrestrial permanent plots of the PDBFF were systematically distributed in the Reserves of 41 (1501), Cabo Frio (3402) and Gavião (1401).
