CENBAM participates in the XI National Science and Technology Week of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas / São Gabriel da Cachoeira Campus.

This year's theme was "LIGHT, SCIENCE AND LIFE IN THE UPPER RIO NEGRO REGION" SÃO GABRIEL DA CACHOEIRA / AM.

 

The event took place from 19 to 23 October 2015.

 

Maria Aparecida de Freitas presented the Biodiversity Research Program and INCT CENBAM to an audience composed of students, professors and researchers.

The focus was to demonstratewhat is being done in the region (integrated biodiversity monitoring courses, installation of modules and RAPELD plots, data management) and the infrastructure installed in the Pico da Neblina National Park in partnership with ICMBio and projects for the future such as the creation of a production chain for mushrooms used by the Yanomami.
