INPA doctoral student discloses PPBio with researchers in Denmark

On December 8, doctoral student Cíntia Gomes de Freitas presented the lecture entitled "PPBio: Brazilian Biodiversity Research Program" to a group of researchers including Professors, doctoral students and postdocs from the Department of Biological Sciences, Ecoinformatic and Biodiversity Group at Aarhus University in Denmark. The doctoral student is a visiting student of this department and has a scholarship from the PDEE / CAPES and under the supervision of Professor Henrik Balsev is developing activities related to his doctorate, including the writing of two scientific articles on the distribution and phylogeny of palm trees, whose data were collected in one of many PPBio grids. This lecture helped to strengthen ties between the two institutions and to shape future collaborations between researchers.
