A NEW BOOK. The Cecropia.

The Cecropia. One tree - many lives.

The book was launched on Thursday the 28th of July 2016 in the Livraria Cultura - Conjunto National in São Paulo. The book is the inspiration of the CENBAM researcher Noemia Ishikawa and is written in English (by William Magnusson of INPA), Japonese (by Takakazu Yumoto of Kyoto University) and Portuguese. The illustrations were painted by Hadna Abreu, a graduate in Visual Arts from the Amazonas Federal University (UFAM) and INPA scholarship holder.

The book is based on a true story that took place in front of Noemia's laboratory and introduces children to the wonders of biology and the interactions between plants, animals and fungi.
