Coordinator of INCT-CENBAM / PPBio Amazônia Occidental participates in International Workshop in Hanoi, capital of Vietnam.

Our coordinator, Dr. William Ernest Magnusson, was visiting Hanoi, capital of Vietnam, from 6 to 17 January 2019. During this period, he participated in the International Workshop entitled "A Methodological Assessment of Tropical Turtle Threats" in cooperation with the NGO Turtle Sanctuary, at the Vietnam National University's (VNU) Central Institute for Natural Resources and Environmental Studies. The event was held on January 12, 13 and 14 and was organized by the Turtle Sanctuary-Conservation Center and aimed at developing a standardized protocol applicable to the study of all endangered tropical turtle species through the exchange of information between specialists countries.
