The Ferns of Amazônia: A Crowd-sourcing Project.

GabrielaZuquim

In this project, we seek the support of the scientific community and the general population to improve the density and coverage of data of our biodiversity. This type of strategy is called crowd-sourcing.

If everyone contributes a little, adequate data can be generated for answering fundamental questions about conservation on an Amazonian scale.

To participate, simply take photos tagged with a location and make them available on the iNaturalist platform (www.inaturalist.org). iNaturalist is a social platform for naturalists, where you can discuss identifications or curiosities about observed species and where they were located.
